Ssendagire Emmanuel

A Ugandan actor and screenwriter who began his acting career in 2017. He has starred in lead roles in Weekend, Amigo, Perverse Mama, Traitress, Kawundo, Accused, Legacy of Lies, and Unbridled, and has featured in productions including Back from Jail, Tebugulwa, Bad Idea, At the Edge, and Interigant. He has also appeared in TV series such as Burning Hearts, Kampala Gals, and Mara.

    Biography

    He was nominated for Best Screenwriter at the Uganda Film Festival (UFF) 2025 for At the Edge, and Best Supporting Actor at the Pearl International Film Festival (PIFF) 2025 for Intrigant.

    A holder of a Certificate in Acting from St. Lawrence University, Emmanuel is fluent in English and Luganda. Born in 1991, he is 5'9", with a medium build and chocolate complexion.
