Mzee Bwanika julius
Biography
He currently serves as the Executive Secretary of Pearlwood, Chairperson of the Pan African Network for Artistic Rights (PANAF) - Uganda, and National Focal Point Person for Connect for Culture Africa, an African Union (AU) initiative advocating for increased public funding to support the cultural and creative industries across AU member states.
Adept at leveraging digital platforms for marketing and advocacy, he has been a pivotal figure in advancing Uganda's film industry. His leadership extends to his previous role as Chairperson of the YALI RLC UG Central Cluster (2022–2023), where he provided mentorship to young African leaders. He also served as a senior judge for Refugees Got Talent 2024.
